Many people have limited budgets when it comes to purchasing a new home, especially in an economy such as today. Often people cannot find a home that they can see themselves in for a long period of time, due to lack of amenities that hey may like, which may cause people to take less pride in where the live. Custom Flipz purpose is to help those with budget restrictions obtain the maximum value for their dollar when purchasing or fixing a home.  Focusing on but not limited to neighborhoods that may overall be considered low income.

Often times new home owners buy property that they can currently afford with the intentions on fixing it up as they go but we know that life happens and this is not always the case. What then often happens is that the homeowner is in a place where they don’t like and don’t properly maintain the property. When this happens, the property can become neglected and lower neighboring property values.

Custom Flipz was started in 2010 as a sole proprietorship business where the company’s initial goals were to establish relationships and find properties to rehab to move in ready condition adding a little bit of flare. The main process is to find a qualified buyer who was looking for a home in an area where we have available property, then let the buyer pick their own finishes including but not limited to paint color, flooring, tile etc. After the improvements were complete, we  sell the property to the buyer for their pre-approved amount or  the current market value whichever is lower with rent to own programs as well as direct buy.   Custom Flipz goal is to develop strong relationships that lead to repeat customers and referrals and in return making a significant overall profit.

Custom Flipz niche is that we allow customer to custom design their home as opposed to us designing it for them. We believe that if a person feels like they were part of the process or that the design is their own they will better maintain the property thus sustaining and increasing property values.  In 2013  Custom Flipz LLC purchased its property which was a condo in Lansing, IL and in 2018 after reevaluating the business plan and growth pattern hired a regular crew of workers and Custom Flipz obtained a general contractors license with the city of Chicago, which allowed for more control over how work was conducted and the quality of the final product. By doing this we increased the number of projects we were able to complete each year and was then able to take on outside clients as their general contractor to assist with their projects as well. Custom Flipz is currently registered and active with multiple villages and cities in south Chicago and the suburbs, in good standing.  In 2019 Custom Flipz became a full service one stop shop as the president of the company acquired a brokers license in Illinois and Indiana to be able to sell Custom Flipz properties as well as assist with the buy and sell of the properties from people that have used Custom Flipz services. In 2021 Custom Flipz became WMBE certified with the city of Chicago opening up bigger opportunities to take on larger projects and obtaining more business recognition.    In the near future we also plan to expand to other states such as Georgia, and Texas.
